The Family Partnership is an innovative and impactful community-based organization that serves families in Minneapolis dealing with poverty and adverse circumstances. Over the last five years, demand for their programs has risen by 50 percent, leaving many families without crucial support. The new 30,000 square-foot addition will provide three times more space for programs. The renovation and addition will expand educational space for infants, toddlers and pre-schoolers with an indoor gym and outdoor playground and add convenient and flexible mental health and therapy services.
The vision for this project was to design a structure focused on the local neighborhood, community, and the variety of ethnicities utilizing the organization. Wells and the design team created a custom prefabricated architectural wall system incorporating Graphic Concrete. The Graphic Concrete geometric designs were manipulated to create a variety of patterns.
