Jankowski elected chairman; new officers, board members and committee heads set
BETHLEHEM, Pa. (May 19, 2015)— The board of directors of AltusGroup, Inc. —a partnership of 20 precast companies and Chomarat N.A. LLC – has confirmed Ron Jankowski from Oldcastle Precast Building Systems as its chairman effective April 29, 2015. He will serve a two-year term ending at the organization’s 2017 annual meeting.
Jankowski works in business development at Oldcastle Precast. He has been involved in all aspects of the precast industry for the last 45 years. He has served as secretary of AltusGroup and also as president of the Mid-Atlantic Precast Association. He has also been chairman of PCI’s Total Precast committee.
Harry Gleich (Metromont) was re-elected as treasurer. John J. Seroky (High Concrete Group LLC) was elected as secretary.
Other board members confirmed at the 2015 AltusGroup annual meeting include Tom Kelley (Gage Brothers), Tony Smith (Metromont), John Leatham (Chomarat), Brian Laufenberg (Chomarat), Aaron Fink (Oldcastle Precast Building Systems), Loren Later (Knife River Prestress) and Kenneth Kruse (BASF).
John Carson, AltusGroup executive director, will continue as a non-voting member of the board.
Jeremy Olivotti (Mid-States Concrete Industries) was elected as chairman of the marketing committee. Dave Schneider (High Concrete Group LLC) was tapped to head up the technical advisory committee with Sam Kakish (Enterprise Precast) overseeing enclosure systems and Gleich overseeing double tees.
