John Carson, executive director of AltusGroup, Inc., will deliver a presentation on ARCIS® ultra-thin, lightweight, prestressed concrete panels at the Strategic Development Council Technology Forum 43, Scottsdale, Ariz., March 2, 2018.
Carson’s presentation will explore the engineering, design, fabrication and application of ARCIS precast panels, which feature stainless steel prestressing in their design. His presentation will also include the application of Graphic Concrete technology on ARCIS panels as well. They are lightweight, flexible and resilient in addition to being aesthetically pleasing. The thin but highly durable panels can be used as rainscreens, marine decking, stair treads, decorative walls and other applications.
