Nearly 80 building professionals learned about reducing weight and increasing insulation with new precast enclosure technologies at the “More with Less” seminar in New York City last Thursday. More than 200 building professionals have joined us since kicking off our tour in September.

Dave Nicholas, High Concrete Group LLC, presents at the "More with Less" seminar on behalf of AltusGroup.
Presenters included Dave Nicholas of High Concrete Group LLC and Ron Jankowski of Oldcastle Precast Building Systems. Both companies are founding members of AltusGroup, a national partnership of 14 precast concrete companies nationwide that manufactures innovative CarbonCast enclosure systems with C-GRID carbon fiber grid.
Six presentations were offered for a total of six AIA-registered continuing education credits including Precast Enclosure Possibilities, Sustainable Design and Precast Enclosure Systems, Precast Aesthetics: Managing cost and quality, Introduction to CarbonCast Enclosure Systems, Designing with CarbonCast Enclosure Systems and Project Case Studies. All presentations are registered as HSW/LUs, but four are certified as “Sustainable Design” (SD) so attendees may earn all requisite credits just by attending this event. As a bonus, those who attended the full day will earn six SD credits.

Ron Jankowski, Oldcastle Precast Building Systems, shares CarbonCast enclosure details at "More with Less" seminar on behalf of AltusGroup.
